Questions about your visit

How long are consultations?

We allow 15 minute appointments for visits. This is longer that some GP surgeries, but it allows us to offer our patients a detailed discussion and assessment of their problem. We also aim to keep patients waiting as short a time as possible. This is why we require all patients to have an appointment.

How can I pay my bill?

Payments can be made in cash, cheque or credit card/ debit card.

What billing or insurance information will I receive?

You will receive a copy of your bill. On request, an annual invoice may be provided for you or your insurance company.

Do you offer credit?

We do not offer lines of credit. Please do not ask for this as refusal may cause offence. If you are experiencing financial difficulties and are not in a position to pay your bill please discuss this with our practice manager.

How can I organise bloods in the local hospital?

Adult blood tests can be booked on the Mater hospital website (Click Here) or Beaumont Hospital website (Click Here). Children rarely need blood tests by comparison, but they can be booked on the Temple Street hospital website (Click Here). You should bring a form from your doctor specifying which tests are to be done.
